The European Union is currently carrying out a public consultation on the way it should control potentially invasive alien species (IAS) across the whole of the EU. This is your opportunity to make your views known to the politicians who will be making decisions that could affect the future of reptile keeping across the EU, including the UK.

Keeping reptiles and amphibians as pets is under threat! Certain animal rights organisations have seen us as an easy target. It is their goal to see a complete BAN on all exotic pet keeping. With more reptiles now kept as pets than dogs, these organisations have clearly under-estimated our numbers and the strength in which we will fight to continue our right to keep our beloved pets
